Car Manufacturer Trolls A Troll – Honda eHarmony and Debbie

I guess by now most of you have heard about Debbie’s eHarmony video – an impassioned video bio in which lovely Debbie makes an attempt at introducing her real, inner self to the internet. While Debbie is obviously a troll, her video about loving cats is still beyond hilarious; she loves every type of cat, and it just makes her SO sad that she can’t hug them all and put them on rainbows and it’s a very emotional time for her.  While pretty funny, it’s not really post worthy, until now: super awesome manly man Patrick Warburton has made a Honda eHarmony video. He too feels emotional… about Hondas. He knows not all Hondas are being driven, and wants to hug every type of Honda, but he just can’t and it makes him so sad! Check Honda’s brilliant video bio response after the jump.

Patrick Warburton not only looks like an awesome guy, he sounds super macho. If you don’t immediately recognize his chiseled good looks, you likely know his voice – he’s Joe from Family Guy, Kronk from Emperor’s New Groove (shut up – I know some of you have seen this), Brock Samson in The Venture brothers, does voice work in COD4, and a slew of other rad, manly characters. Watching him break down and cry about how he wants to put all Honda’s JD Power awards in a basket and dab effeminately at his eyes is hilarious. He absolutely nails Debbie’s fluttery, unhinged cat grief and the marketing guys at Honda should get big ups for this idea. A lot of companies try to capitalize on viral videos and trending internet memes, and end up coming across looking stupid, but I think this Honda Eharmony video is witty enough to stand toe to toe with the original.

And because in the last music video post I put up we had so much fun with absolutely ridiculous bonus videos, here is Debbie’s cat rant in song form, along with all sorts of lolcat meme videos mixed in. I warn you, if you click on this link, you’ll be singing “I love cats, I love every type of cat!” and sending keyboard cat videos to everyone you know for the next month. You’ve been warned.

Author, Designer, and "that girl your mother warned you about." Looking good seems to be my job, whether it's working with the site design, or a number of other more interesting capacities. I have a ridiculous sense of humour and a brutal sense of honesty- you'll see a lot of that coming through in my writing, so don't say I didn't warn you if I somehow manage to offend you AND hurt your feelings at the same time. On the plus side, it makes my dating and advice columns a lot more pertinent to an unfinished man in the real world.
