With the Internet, there are now hundreds of ways to earn extra money in addition to your job, as well as ways to bring in extra money by doing small tasks. Some of these ways are extremely profitable if you put in a little effort and time.
Tutoring
People will pay big bucks to have you tutor them or their child in anything from math, science, writing or even technical skills. If you have the qualifications to tutor in whatever the subject is, you can earn up to $50 an hour just by helping people out. You don’t even need to leave your house, as you can always specify that you tutor from the comfort of your own home.
Teach An Online Course
There are so many websites now that allow you to upload ecourses for people to then purchase if they want to learn about that subject. If you’re good at doing something, anything, you almost certainly can make money from it by teaching other people. Some good websites for this is Udemy and Skillshare.
Wash Cars Or Cut Lawns
If you live in an area with lots of lawns or people who drive (suburbs are perfect) you could earn $20 or more for these tasks if you approach the right people. No one actually likes to mow their lawn or clean their car, so they’ll happily pay you to do it for them.
Walk Dogs or Pet Sit
People will pay tons of money for you to walk their dog or pet sit, as so many people consider their pets their children so they like to make sure they get the best. You can find jobs for this through word of mouth in you area, or advertise on local bulletin boards.
Freelance
Whether you’re good at writing, web design, editing or more, people will pay you to do these tasks for them. You can charge per assignment, word count, pages, etc. But there are plenty of opportunities to this. Whether you’re going through a third party such as Fiverr, Etsy, or even DotWriter, or finding clients yourself, there’s definitely a market for it.
Babysit
There are plenty of opportunities out there to spend a few hours a night looking after children, if that’s your thing. Parents will pay as much as $15 an hour, and as long as you can play pretend and be safe, there’s no reason why you can’t find work and make good money doing this.
Sell Unused Things
Whether you use Ebay, Craigslist or another classifieds avenue, you earn money off of the stuff you never use. Have a CD you never opened? Sell it! Read a bunch of books and don’t want to keep them? People will certainly buy them. No matter what it is, there’s someone out there who will bu it.
