A couple of months ago, we wrote about the 6×6 Defender ‘Flying Huntsman’ by Kahn Design which appeared to be an attempt to go up against the Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6. While it’s impossible to go up against the G63 6×6, it was a valiant attempt by the Kahn Design team. And it looks like the guys are not quite finished yet with wild modifications to the Land Rover Defender.
Here we have the Flying Huntsman 105 Defender Pickup Truck by Kahn Design. The side profile is just as awkward looking as the Flying Huntsman 6×6 yet it’s still kind of nice to stare at. The team added an additional 15 inches to the stock 90-inch wheel base which is why it’s called Flying Huntsman 105. The technicians also added 15.7 inches to the front end and the width also increased by an additional 5.9 inches.
The Defender is known for its off-road capabilities but the tuner still played around with the suspension settings and brakes allowing the vehicle to handle tougher terrain. Other exterior modifications include wider wheel arches, vents, new bumpers, vented hood, new front grille, and 18-inch matte black wheels.
On the inside, the vehicle receives sporty seats, custom upholstery and stitching, trim pieces, and machined aluminum pedals. The Flying Huntsman 105 Defender Pickup Truck starts at £58,875 which is approximately $93,000 USD at the moment. What do you guys think? Looks good or terrible idea?
Really digging the way that it looks, even though the front end looks a little too long, but 93000… No thank you.
