About a week ago we wrote an article on the awesome and luxurious Land Rover Defender 90 Yachting Edition; that post turned out to be quite popular, which is understandable because of the awesomeness of the Defender. Today we bring you the 2011 Land Rover Defender line-up.
The 2011 Land Rover Defender gets subtle styling updates, which will probably be only noticed by the die-hard Defender fans. The 2011 Defender comes in 90 different variations with long and short wheelbase models.
If there had to be only two things to remember that the 1970’s did for automotive history, the first would be the death of the muscle car and the second being the rise of the legendary Lancia Stratos. The iconic light weight wedge design with a Ferrari engine molded the definition of rally racing in the 70’s by winning championship titles from 1974-76 and establishing victories in the Monte Carlo Rally between 1975-1977. Forty years later, its back to take another bite in automotive history.
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, based on the third-published book in C.S. Lewis’ beloved Chronicles book series finds Lucy (Georgie Henley) and Edmund (Skandar Keynes) dreaming of returning to Narnia where they were a queen and king. In England, they are stuck living with their aunt and uncle during World War II. Instead of battling mythical creatures, they’re stuck fighting with their annoying cousin Eustace (Will Poulter). Then one day a painting in their room comes to life and transports them back to Narnia and onto the Dawn Treader, the sailing vessel of King Caspian (Ben Barnes). At first they are unsure why they have been called back, but soon learn of the evil of Dark Island, which has been trapping people in its seductive green mist and set out on a quest to find the Seven Lost Lords in order to stop the evil.
As I walked into the screening I can honestly say I was not anticipating much from the film because it’s predecessor; PRINCE CASPIAN was a major let down but I was pleasantly pleased. DAWN TREADER kept my attention all the way through and with its fun characters; actions sequences and shorter viewing time made it less of chore to sit through. This is the first trailer for the third installment in Michael Bay’s Transformer series, Transformers 3: Dark Of The Moon.
The trailer doesn’t show much, but we do see a fictional take on Neil Armstrong’s 1969 moon landing, and as expected, he finds an alien ship on the moon. We’re not too excited about this one because for starters, the name sounds pretty lame, and secondly, Shia LaBeouf is stil the leader actor… yikes. Even worse…

Up until recently I had never heard of Tron or what it was about; I still don’t know what the movie is about, but at least I’ve heard of it now and made a post. I was thinking of watching the movie, but after my last post, I know it will be a let-down.
I have compiled a list of some cool and not so cool Tron Legacy inspired merchandise.
The Light Cycle
Just like the Light Cycle from the movie, you too can ride in style on this street-legal version of the motorcycle for only $55,000. Built by Parker Brothers Choppers, the Light Cycle replica is based on a Suzuki TLR1000 and makes use of plenty of fiberglass and steel to get the desired look. The Light Cycle weighs 474 pounds and measures over 100 inches in length by 23 inches in width.
Normally I wouldn’t write about Harley Davidson motorcycles, unless I’m making fun of them or Marisa Miller is involved, but I’ll make an exception this time. “The One” is a custom bike built by Fat Attack Custom Bikes, based in Switzerland, built on a Harley Davidson chassis.
“The One” is one sexy machine with low to the ground stance, a massive rear tire and a very unique exhaust system, which I’m sure is going to be extremely loud. It will get you noticed for sure, as you’re sipping on a Latte at your local Starbucks.
