Arnie Shows Believable Emotion in This New Maggie Trailer

Let me start by saying that I’m a big fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger, and that my suggestion of him having actual emotion in his latest movie Maggie is by no means meant to be an insult. It’s true, he does! He’s actually emoting!

I say this because, let’s be honest here… he’s most well known for action movies like The Terminator where he plays a monotone, emotional, well… robot. This new trailer (which I’ll let you watch in just moment) is one of the first pieces of film where I feel Arnold is really emoting in a believable way.

Who the hell is Maggie?

Maggie is Wade’s (Arnold’s) daughter played by Abigail Breslinthink Zombieland or Ender’s Game. She’s been infected by a deadly zombie virus that’s sweeping the nation, and Wade is trying to save her life.

What did you think? I got a distinct The Last of Us vibe from watching this, and that’s not a bad thing. The movie’s director, Henry Hobson, actually directed the title sequence for the previously mention Naughty Dog masterpiece.

I’m not exactly sure where they’re going with this movie, or really even what kind of movie it is, but I’m definitely willing to give it a chance for no other reason than to see Arnold shed a tear on the big screen.

Now, sadly there’s no public release date for the North American launch of Maggie, but… the IMDB page claims that this will be hitting theaters in Sweden on May 22nd.
