Porsche 911 Turbo S GB Edition

I’ve never driven a Porsche but I’m a huge fan of the 911 sports cars, especially the latest generation 991. My dream sports car (a car that can easily be used daily) is the 911 Turbo, which has been around for 40 years. And to celebrate the milestone, the German automaker has released a limited production version of the car called the Porsche 911 Turbo S GB Edition. Only 40 units will be produced and sold only in the U.K.

The car is designed by Porsche Exclusive, the company’s bespoke division, and is loaded with otherwise optional equipment. The limited edition GB Edition 911 is powered by a 3.8 liter 6-cylinder engine producing 560 horsepower. The added packages include LED lights, Sport Chrono Package, Adaptive Aero Kit, PDCC (Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control), and PCCB (Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes).

The exterior includes black graphic stripes along the lower doors with “Porsche” on them, a tribute to the original 930 911 Turbo from 1974; black fixed rear spoiler, blacked-out door handles, and black Sport Classic wheels. The interior doesn’t see any significant changes other than the Union Jack embossed on the center storage compartment and “911 Turbo S Exclusive GB Edition” engraved on the carbon fiber strip on the dashboard.

The 40th anniversary limited edition Porsche 911 Turbo S GB Edition is offered in white, silver, or Guards Red exterior colors, and is priced at £150,237.
