Omega Speedmaster White Side Of The Moon Watch

Here’s yet another watch from Omega reminding us that their watch made it to the moon. The latest watch from the Swiss watchmaker is the Omega Speedmaster White Side of the Moon, over the last few years Omega has released the “Dark Side” and “Grey Side” of the moon watches, so why not a white side. Not that there is a white side of the moon, last time I checked there were only the dark and grey sides, but what do I know…

As the names would suggest, the previous two watches were dark black and grey, and the latest one is all-white; in fact a little too white. I don’t know what these white watches would look like in person but in the pictures provided by Omega, they’re almost blinding.

The Speedmaster White Side of the Moon watches come in 42.25mm cases with liberal use of white ceramics on the case and dial. The dial, case, and leather straps are all white. The hour and minute hands are made out of 18k, you guess it, white gold.

Other than color, there is no difference between the three watches. They’re powered by Omega’s in-house caliber 9300 automatic movements, with chronograph complications. The White Side of the Moon watches are priced at 10,800 Swiss Francs, which converts to about the same amount in US dollars at the current exchange rate. Via: Omega
