The Nikon P900’s 83x Zoom is so Good, Well… Check This Out

It’s not often that I write about cameras. It’s not that I don’t use them very often, because I do – it’s a big part of “blogging” for a living – but because I’m not buying new cameras very often. My Canon S95 is still holding up well.

But here’s the thing: the new Nikon P900 might just be the most impressive camera I’ve ever seen. It has an 83x optical zoom that’s so good, you can actually watch the moon “move” in real time. It doesn’t hurt that the level of detail even at that magnification is incredible, but enough talk, watch this…

Pretty good way to market a camera, eh? The amazing thing is that this camera really isn’t even that expensive. It costs about $595 USD depending on the retailer, and other than it being sold out almost everywhere, that makes it pretty affordable for a camera in its class.
