‘Flower Marge’ – Real Life Marge Simpson

For some people, being human isn’t good enough. There are people who are more interested in living in another realm and it’s made “possible” thanks to various online games or even apps that allow you to “cartoon yourself” or “zombie yourself”. I suppose everyone has day dreams about living in a different time period or different world from time to time. I’m a huge fan of the Simpsons and I’ve pictured myself in that environment where anything goes and not have to worry about anything. Yeah I know, I’m a weirdo.

Although I can’t be in the Simpsons but that doesn’t mean the Simpsons can’t be here. Thanks to photographer Alexander Khokhlov, hairstylist Mikhail Kravchenko, model Kate Moukhina, and makeup artist Veronica Ershova, Marge Simpson lives among us in our world. If you ever wondered what real-life Marge would look like, you now have a pretty good idea in this video here.

The results are pretty amazing although those eyes seem a little large and a bit on the creepy side. The iconic blue tower of hair was created using a special frame and real chrysanthemum flowers which were painted blue. Using real flowers allowed the team to achieve an accurate texture and volume for the hair. The team refers to their artwork as Flower Marge.

I would love to see Homer Simpson along with the kids brought to “life”. It would be interesting to have hidden cameras record the reaction of people as the Simpson family walks into a shopping center and go about their business. What do you guys think? Did the team do a good job or what?
