Apple is coming out with new and improved awesome technology every year and it’s easy to want to feel like you need to get every new phone or every new iPad, and throw in the Apple Watch while you’re at it. One thing that gets overlooked so frequently is the Apple TV.
The Apple TV is probably one of the best and most useful things that Apple makes for the home, so it’s surprising that more people don’t have them. The Apple TV is better than it ever has been with so many features and amazing things there’s no reason not to get one. Costing just $149, you will not regret this purchase.
So what is that makes the Apple TV so special? Well, it can do just about anything. The newest version has so many apps that your options are really infinite. Its biggest draw for many people is the Netflix app. Before, it used to be a pain because you could only get Netflix on your iPad or your laptop or phone, but now you can access it directly from the Apple TV, which will then broadcast your Netflix picks right on your TV.
It also includes Amazon video, sports channels live, ABC live coverage and channels such as A&E. You can rent or buy movies directly from the app store and you can listen to music. You can play games or use it to look at photos.
However, one of the coolest things the Apple TV does is it allows you to AirPlay things. This essentially means that you can pull up a TV show or anything from the web on any Apple device and bounce it straight to the TV. This is awesome because sometimes Netflix doesn’t have everything we want so it’s useful to be able to pull up anything on your device and also stream it directly on your TV.
The Apple TV is so incredibly easy to use, and since it’s just a little black box it also can fit into any décor pretty unobtrusively while still giving you the power to put anything on your TV that you want.
Having the flexability and ability to do all of these things is pretty revolutionary. 20 years ago we never would have thought we’d have all these devices, let alone put anything on a TV that wasn’t actually on the TV channels. This is awesome and at just under $150 it is completely worth the money.
While the iPhones and Apple Watches are cool, they have nothing on this little gizmo. So if you haven’t already got one, it’s time to get yourself an Apple TV and revolutionize your television habits.
I was disappointed in apple tv – for these reasons:
first -it’s not cheap at all and if few years ago Apple was the only one compnay offering this kind of device. Nowadays – Lenovo, Dell, Samsung and other companies are selling such things, but for less money
Second – Apple tv didn’t supported in every countries, frankly speaking it doesn’t work in many Asian, European, African and other countries
