A Two Faced Watch – Valbray V.01 Chrono Limited Edition

Like the title says, the Valbray V.01 Chrono Limited Edition watch is two-faced but in this case it’s a good thing.  The Valbray V.01 Limited Edition comes with a very clean dial or if you’re one of those people that prefer more complications on the watch face, it also has hidden chronograph sub-dials.

With a simple twist of the bezel, the watch face opens up like a camera shutter to reveal the three hidden chronograph sub-dials.  The shutter can be completely opened or closed, or you can leave it open half way to give the watch face yet another look. Watches like these are called “convertible watches” (I don’t think an explanation is necessary) and a few other manufacturers have sold convertible watches.

The Valbray V.01 Chrono Limited Edition comes in a large 47 mm case and will be limited to 500 pieces in titanium and 250 pieces in 18 karat rose gold and will be powered by a modified Swiss ETA 7750 Valjoux automatic chronograph movement.  No word on prices yet but do expect them to be reasonably high.
