Tragedy Strikes Hip-Hop – Nate Dogg Passes Away

Nate Dogg passes away March 15, 2011

Tragedy strikes Hip-Hop once again. I don’t normally post celebrity related material but Nate Dogg (Nathaniel Dwayne Hale) has got to be one of my favorite musicians of all time. The West Coast singer passed away last night (March 15, 2011) and details of his untimely death are still emerging. The 41 year old singer was partially paralyzed six years ago when he suffered a stroke.

Nate Dogg became famous for his distinct voice and catchy hooks on a number of songs performed by top artists such as Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Warren G, Ludacris, and Fabolous to name a few.

Today is a sad day for me. He is a legend who contributed to so many classics from the 90’s and 2000’s. He will be greatly missed.
