Luxurious New Nissan GT-R EGOIST Special Edition

Nissan is releasing a few variations of their powerful sports car, the GT-R.  In addition to the standard version, there is the Spec V, Club Track and the luxurious GT-R EGOIST special edition.

The GT-R EGOIST seems to be targeting luxury supercars such as the Maserati Gran Turismo and Ferrari 612 Scaglietti.  If you hide the GT-R logo from the steering wheel, this car can easily be mistaken for Italy’s finest grand touring car (on the inside only).  In addition to the seats, everything on the inside of the car is covered in leather – the door panels, center console and the dashboard – just the way we like it.  The seating surface is quilted and customers can choose four different leather colors for the upper area and ten for the lower area.  The seats are hand-made by a company in Germany.

Other than interior upgrades, the EGOIST GT-R gets minor upgrades in the form of a carbon fiber spoiler, Rays wheels and a titanium exhaust from the Spec V GT-R.  All this luxury will cost you: $184,500, to be exact.  That’s almost twice as much as the standard GT-R costs in Japan.
