Fortis Terrestis Orchestra Watches

Fortis is another Swiss watch brand I hadn’t heard of until very recently; I checked out their website last week, it looked absolutely hideous, I didn’t think this was a real watch brand. But seeing the Fortis Terrestis Orchestra watches makes me forget about their 90’s era website and I do believe they are a real watch brand and not just some online watch retailers.

The Terrestis Orchestra watches look absolutely stunning, they’re simple and quite elegant. The watches come in two finishes and there is quite a steep gap between prices for the entry level model and the top of the line model; $3,000 and $12,600.

The watches come in 40 mm stainless steel or rose gold cases with black leather straps and steel or rose gold buckles. The dials are domed and come in black (anthracite) or silver opaline, covered with AR coated domed sapphire crystal, the same crystal is applied to the display caseback. The dial features a sub dial above the 6 o’clock position for the seconds display, which also houses the date window. The three hands, three indices, and the Arabic numeral 12 are all finished in rose gold.

The Fortis Terrestis Orchestra watches are powered by Swiss ETA caliber 2895-2 automatic movement with 42 hours of power reserve. The movement beats at 28,800 vph, features 27 jewels, and is water resistant to 50 meters. Via: Fortis

  1. Anyone reviewing watches who has never heard of Fortis is unqualified to offer any kind of opinion. Have you been sleeping under a rock? Too busy collecting Fossil and Diesel watches from Macy’s? Dear God. You are unfinished indeed.

    • Take a chill pill dude! It’s not the end of the world, there are hundreds upon hundreds of brands of watches, I have a life, unlike yourself, I can’t know about everything. I hope you enjoy your Invicta collection and “wear it in good health”…

      • From inventing the world’s first self-winding wristwatch in 1926 and some of the world’s first waterproof watches in the 1940s to designing watches that can withstand extreme temperature, pressure, and other environmental conditions, it seems to me that Fortis deserves some recognition.
The first paragraph is as rude as they come, he deserved ‘the sponsor’ tough comment p, that came as a consequence of his ignorance in relation to a well respected watch brand…
