Jamie McGuinness is an established elite sportsman inspiring others to pursue their dreams. He is a professional soccer coach, mentor, and guide offering unique training programs, sports-specific performance, and nutrition. Throughout his coaching career, Jamie had the opportunity to work with elite professional athletes within the American Football (NFL), MLS, and MASL. His clients are often thrilled by his authentic and effective programs that help them take their game to the next level.
The former professional soccer player transitioned from playing to coaching and has helped hundreds of young female athletes secure millions of dollars in athletic scholarships to pursue their dreams of an education and a soccer career. Jamie has also coached and helped young boys and men develop their footballing skills, instilling the right mentality and attitude to chase their dreams. He has since helped hundreds of young men sign professionally in the MLS and MASL through his training techniques, guidance, and mentorship programs.
Having been a player himself, Jamie acknowledges that players face several challenges in their careers. His biggest obstacle was establishing a personality and brand that reflected his beliefs in a country with different cultures.
“I wanted to share my experiences of playing at such a high level of soccer in England with the next young generation of soccer players in Florida, as well as professional athletes, some of who were my teammates. Trying to make their dreams come true. Believe in them, make them better people in society, and build on their foundations.”
However, Jamie says he had to work extra hard to provide one-to-one tutoring and to mentor players from one level to become an outstanding talent that built confidence, trust, and support. Guiding them, being patient, and honestly praising their abilities, which was acknowledged by them and their families, was a unique and welcomed approach that saw him succeed in a foreign country.
Rising from the bottom to achieve your dreams is never easy, but there is always a way for resilient, hardworking, and innovative individuals. Jamie constantly reminds everyone that there is a way around every obstacle provided you never give up. More importantly, always work hard for your dream. Remember, if you don’t, someone will be working harder than you. Surrounding yourself with ambitious and positive-minded people will serve you with the right mentality and energy to keep going. Jamie also recognizes the importance of having a mentor or coach to help with your goals and avoid wasting time trying to figure out what you can easily overcome.
