I’ve done a few hookah related articles in the last two years and today I will be officially reviewing the Khalil Mamoon World Cup hookah. I recently received a Khalil Mamoon World Cup hookah from the folks over at SouthSmoke. Khalil Mamoon is an Egyptian brand and they have been making quality hand-made Hookah/Shisha’s for decades now. Khalil Mamoon hookahs are more traditional in style and are known for their superior draw and the purging characteristics. In the hookah world, Khalil Mamoon is a common house hold brand much like Maytag is in the appliances world. The “World Cup” hookah is named after the World Cup trophy as you can see in the design of this smoking device. This particular hookah is also referred to as an Ice Chamber hookah because the chamber at the very top can be filled with ice which helps in cooling the smoke that travels from the bowl at the very top all the way down the stem into the glass vase.

War Machine – Amazing Fan Made Costume
This is probably the coolest fan made costume I’ve seen to date. There are some pretty cool Transformers costumes out there but this War Machine built by Anthony Le blows the competition out of the water. The attention to detail on this costume is quite amazing. It’s constructed out of high-impact urethane pieces which are attached with 1,500 rivets. The helmet is made out of clay and resin with built in LED lights.
Limited Edition Hublot Luxury Sled
When I hear the name Hublot, I automatically think of big, in your face luxury watches, a sled (or sledge to some) never would’ve crossed my mind. But that’s exactly what they created and it is a luxurious one, the Hublot Sled makes use of materials you’d find in luxury automobiles.
The sled uses steel for the runners, ash wood and carbon fiber for the structure and hand-sewn leather for the seat. The sled was made in collaboration with ECAL, Lausanne University of Art and Design. Only 10 of these luxurious sleds will be produced and we expect them to cost more than a brand new small car.
Water Powered Alarm Clock
Time is money or so they say. So it’s kind of important that you are never late for all those important meetings at work and such. To be on time, I have to rely on my alarm clock but what I really find annoying about my standard alarm clock is that it is not very reliable when the power goes out. Okay, the power rarely goes out around this part of the world but it has screwed over some person out there at some point in time, I’m sure of it.
The solution to the problem that I’ve never had to deal with is the Water Powered Alarm Clock. What makes it unique is that it runs on water. This gets bonus points for being environmentally friendly but then again, a lot of the electricity is made thanks to water. Hmmmm
