The Chemical Brothers – Hanna OST – Review

A few months ago I watched the trailer for Hanna, a movie that centers around the life of a special girl whose childhood toys were knives and guns, not dolls and toy ovens. Trained from birth to fight and kill, Hanna’s father unleashes her on the world and… well, you’ll have to watch and see for yourself.

The movie itself looked fantastic, but what really struck a chord with me was the incredible music. It wasn’t the booming classical epic orchestral music found in so many movie trailers, but instead a sort of

Pop Danthology 2012 – Mashup of the “Greatest” Hits

Years ago I read the epic Dune series of books by famed author Frank Herbert. From the pages of his books I learned a great many things. I learned how to walk across open stretches of sand to avoid attracting the giant Shai-Hulud, and perhaps more importantly, the Bene Gesserit taught me about the power of music, and the sway it holds over people.

I’ve started to realize that people do in fact enjoy the music they hear on the radio. There’s a good reason it’s called pop, and in a way this music hold sway over a great many people. They continue to listen to it and support (or not support, as is often the case) the “musicians” that create it. But that’s not the point of

Fire In The Hole – Man Drops Firecracker Down Manhole

The Chinese are responsible for inventing gunpowder and you’d think that they would have experimented with all the possible dangers of playing with this stuff. You know, like dropping a firecracker down a manhole which is full of gases.

Because nobody was seriously injured, I watched and laughed my ass off multiple times. The video clip below takes place in Xiangtan, China featuring a not so smart father and two very traumatized children. Perhaps this was a science fair experiment for the kids. Check out the video after the jump.

Brazilian Elevator Ghost Prank 1

Video: Scary Ghost in Elevator Prank

Below is an absolutely hilarious video clip from a Brazilian show, I’m assuming it’s like Candid Camera but much cooler and scarier.  This segment of the show features a fake elevator and some unsuspecting visitors victims taking the elevator up the building, only to find flickering lights and then complete darkness, the lights come back on with a little surprise… a little ghost girl with messy hair and a doll, scaring the shit out of these people.  It’s awesome!

Crying Like You Have Never Heard

Well, some of you guys might have seen this circulating around by now. I just thought I would share this with the people who have not already seen. I know it’s a bit mean to be enjoying watching this but there is a lesson to be learned. If you are going to be crying, make sure there are no cameras to record it. Otherwise, you will go viral. See below.

Who Says Tennis Isn’t a Contact Sport

US Open Tennis Fan Fight

Last night a fight broke out between fans at the US Open tennis match between Novak Djokovic and Philipp Petzschner.

Here’s what I think happened after watching the video (while giggling like a little girl):

Young Douchebag (YD) has too much to drink, gets rowdy and starts swearing.  Old lady (miss know it all) tells YD to stop, he doesn’t, so she takes the liberty to slap him.  YD gets even more pissed and swears more, Old Douchebag (OD) tries to be the hero and punches YD in the face, in the process, YD pushes him down the seats and makes him regret it!  Then all hell breaks loose and everyone tries to attack YD.
