Liam Neeson Leaving a Phone Message

Liam Neeson Leaves a Message – The Graham Norton Show

I’m a long time fan of Liam Neeson’s work, and on this episode of The Graham Norton Show, a woman claiming to be his oldest fan gets quite the treat. I’m not going to spoil it for you, except to say that if you’ve seen Liam Neeson in Taken, you’ll really appreciate this clip.

The Best Clothing Commercial Ever, Period – Scruffs Hardwear

Given that I’m writer of the internet variety, it’s my duty to avoid hyperbole. That’s why when I say something is “the best evar!!!!”, you know it must be true. So on that note…

This Scruffs Hardwear clothing commercial is probably the best clothing commercial that I’ve ever seen. I can’t really say much about it without ruining the whole experience, but suffice it to say that you probably shouldn’t watch this video at

Hanna Trailer – Matilda With Grit?

Sometimes children are bad people too.

This is a trailer for the upcoming assassin-child-action-adventure film Hanna, starring Saoirse Ronan, Cate Blanchett, and Eric Bana. The movie centers around the life of a very special girl named Hanna. Trained by her ex-cia operative father, Hanna travels across Europe on a mission to take out a ruthless intelligence agent with secrets of her own. The trailer reminds me of a mix between Leon: The Professional, and Taken. Both films are excellent, and if you haven’t seen them, you’re doing yourself a disservice.

Prometheus Movie Poster

Ridley Scott’s Prometheus – Movie Poster

It’s been a long time since anyone released an Aliens movie. No, I don’t count the Aliens vs Predators films, as they were mostly trash. I mean a true Aliens film, and preferably by a talented director such as, oh… I don’t know, maybe Ridley Scott? Well, today we get our wish, kind of.

This is a poster for a new Ridley Scott directed film called Prometheus. Details are sparse, but apparently he’s been working on this for quite some time, and filming is wrapping up on his set in Iceland. The film isn’t a true Aliens movie, but it does take place before any of the Alien films, and presumably in the same universe. We also know that H.R. Giger was involved in the process, though to what extent I have no idea.

The Thing

The Thing – Lee Hardcastle’s Claycat Cinema

It’s been ages since John Carpenter’s original 1982 sci-fi/horror masterpiece The Thing hit theatres, and since then we’ve had two new versions of the movie. One of them is amazing, which is the one you’re about the watch, and then there’s the 2011 Hollywood remake which scored a whopping 36% on Rotten Tomatoes. Don’t bother going to see it if you haven’t already, as the one you’re about to see is so much better.

Created by a fellow named Lee Hardcastle under his “Claycat Cinema” brand, his interpretation of The Thing follows the story of the original, but with a bit of artistic license. We’ve still got the
