Not once have I seen a billboard in my daily commute around the city that really caught my attention. So I’ve had to search the world wide web to see what’s happening out there. Below is a collection of some of the cool billboards that I’ve come across. Enjoy and if there are some really cool billboards that you would like to see added to the list below, e-mail me.
Details of the Honda UNI-CUB were recently released and the device is the latest in the company’s range of battery powered ‘personal mobility’ gadgets. I don’t know about you guys but all I can think about is Wall-E after seeing the pictures.
The technology in Honda UNI-CUB is borrowed and improved from the Honda U3-X which was first released in 2009 as a personal mobility unicycle. Through extensive testing, the UNI-CUB features a number of improvements over the U3-X starting with a more comfortable seating arrangement.
The past meets the present with the all-new Morgan 3 Wheeler, which features modern technology and WWII styling. The original Morgan 3 Wheeler was produced from 1909 until 1953 and nearly 30,000 of them were sold, while many more were made under license by Darmont Morgan of France.
The 2011 Morgan features a modern V-Twin fuel injected motorcycle engine from S&S which produces 115 horsepower and is mated to a Mazda 5-speed transmission including a reverse gear. The classic chassis and design of the Morgan 3 Wheeler imitate the styling of a WWII aircraft, and also features a leather padded airplane style cockpit which allows the occupants of the vehicle the feeling of ‘flying through the air’.
The French based company, Wild Design, recently revealed some of their latest conceptual designs of armchairs which are based on exotic mammals, reptiles, and insects.
These are no cheesy designs, and have a lot of potential to go into production. It is luxury designed furniture which caters to a very special clientele. Since the furniture is still purely conceptual, I can’t comment on the quality of the furniture, but I love the originality of the designs.
Between the six of us writing here at Unfinished Man, our play lists pretty much cover all the genres of North American music. I happen to have a preference for Rap, Hip-Hop, and R&B. I’m always looking for new upcoming artists and constantly checking social media sites such as YouTube, MySpace, and OurStage looking for new talent.
About a week ago, I accidentally came across a rapper named Terell Safadi. I had never heard of him before but his music really caught my attention. His versatile style, his delivery, and the production of the music really did it for me. The more I looked up his music, the more I liked him. So I decided to contact him and see what his story is.
Unfinished Man: Thank you for giving us the opportunity to interview you Terell. Why don’t you tell our readers a little bit about yourself?
Designer Liam Ferguson, gives us his concept on how to fight forest fires. The Amatoya ATV uses a military-style approach to battle fires with its dual water cannons and dune buggy like capabilities. The Amatoya ATV is capable of housing two passengers and features a high-visibility cockpit along with military-grade thermo ceramic paint to withstand high temperatures. The futuristic ATV also features a remotely operated suppression cannon outfit (ROSCO).
I wasn’t a fan of this when I first saw it. It seemed pretty useless to me, but for some odd reason I’m starting to like it. It’s probably because of the ridiculous picture above and mental images of drunken friends burning my whole town house complex down.
The outdoor fireplace is called ‘Zero’ for its “O” shaped design and made by the design company AK47. The Zero fireplace features a central pit for the fire and is surrounded by a wood panel for sitting on around the flame. Under the seating area, storage area is provided for extra fire wood.
