Tired of all the electronic nannies in the latest supercars? Think your Ferrari looks similar to your neighbor’s Lamborghini? Hate all the new turbocharged exotic cars? We have something just for you, the 1972 Lamborghini Miura P400 SV, which is set to go on the auction block on December 10, 2015.
The Lamborghini Miura is one of the world’s first supercars, and a beautiful one it is. The car has curves in all the right places, it’s designed to turn heads, the design is simple yet elegant, it comes with a clean and simple interior. And of course, it doesn’t come with any of the electronics found on modern exotic cars.
The 1972 Miura SV is the more desirable model of the SV line, as it was the later model year and featured improvements such as bigger carburetors, tweaked suspension and wider rear body for better handling. The car is powered by the naturally aspirated mid-mounted 3,929cc V12 engine producing 385 bhp, sending power to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The car is restored to original condition by one of Europe’s best car restoration company, featuring original paint color, engine, body, and drivetrain. The car is going to be auctioned at RM Sotheby’s, and is expected to fetch between 2.2 and 2.6 million US dollars. Via: RM
