Honda has just launched their latest motorcycle in India and is one of the least expensive bikes the manufacturer makes. The 109cc Honda Dream Yuga is priced at 44,642 Indian Rupees ($830 USD) making it quite an affordable option for the locals.
The air cooled, four-stroke engine produces 8.5bhp at 7,500 rpm and 6.6 lb ft of torque at 6,000 rpm. The motorcycle also features a four-speed gearbox, disc brakes on the front, and drum brakes for the rear. The base model features a kick start but a $92 option will get you the electric start and alloy wheels. continue reading →

I don’t usually give two shits about cars, trucks, or any other sort of vehicle. There’s a good reason that I leave those topics to our other more capable, auto enthusiast writers here at Unfinished Man. Every now and then, though, I’ll see a video of a car or bike zipping along an interesting place, and it gets my adrenaline pumping. This is definitely one of those videos.
Filmed on an abandoned national highway in Japan, this motorcycle trek looks like quite the adventure. If you’ve seen the cinematic version of continue reading →

Two years in the making and the ‘Concept One’ by Rimac Automobili is finally up for grabs for those who can afford the world’s first “electric hyper car”. The Concept One is one of the few production vehicles which surpass the 1,000hp mark with this particular car producing an impressive 1,088 horsepower which is near Bugatti Veyron territory.
The Concept One features ‘All Wheel Torque Vectoring’. With this setup, powertrain of the vehicle is divided into four sub-systems with each system delivering power to one wheel each and working independently from each other. This allows each wheel to accelerate and decelerate independently hundreds of times per second for optimum handling. continue reading →

The fan made Jaguar XKX Concept is the creation of Skyrill in collaboration with Marin Myftiu and has taken inspiration from the iconic Jaguar E-Type. Although this concept vehicle has no affiliation with the official company, this car is a true Jaguar at heart in many ways.
The aim of this concept vehicle is to revive the iconic design lines of the brand while integrating modern aerodynamics and new technologies such as an electric powerplant aimed at pushing both performance and power efficiency to a new level. The concept vehicle features microscopic layers of piezoelectric cells which help produce electricity caused by air friction (the air that actually flows over the surface of the car). The electricity that is produced is sent to the battery helping improve the efficiency of the vehicle. continue reading →

Some of my favorite cars in the past have come from the Datsun, Nissan, and Infinity family and that continues to be the case to date with vehicles such as the Maxima, 370Z, G Series, M Series, and Infiniti FX Series. Just yesterday, Infinity and Austrian manufacturer, Magna Steyr, announced the details of a new Infiniti premium compact model.
The new entry-level Infinity is to hit the showrooms in 2014 and will be available in key markets around the world including Western Europe. No word yet on whether it will be available in North America but I would consider this part of the world as a ‘key market’. continue reading →

Take a few moments to peruse the finer details of this publicity photo taken at the 1969 Detroit Auto Show. Should you presume that only lady car show models were seen in wide legged plaid pants in this era – consider yourself wrong. I personally had a few pair of these high styling pants, and, while I could consider my plaid pants days a good memory or a bad one, it’s a fact that I was captured in my high school graduation photos wearing pants similar to these. Yikes!
Now let’s look past the fashion and hair-dos to concentrate on the introduction of a 1969 Ford concept vehicle dubbed “The Scrambler”. I’m not sure that I would call this a ‘pickup’ truck as the Ford sign does, since it’s really more of an adaptation of a two door station wagon. Auto style and function was changing, continue reading →

These two love birds actually hold over 90 world records related to fuel economy and vehicles. Their latest record is for driving an incredible 1,621.1 miles through nine states on a single tank of fuel (diesel).
The vehicle used for this journey is the all-new 2012 Volkswagen Passat TDI SE sedan with a six-speed manual gearbox.
