Before Enzo Ferrari pissed off Ferruccio Lamborghini, Lamborghini was known for making tractors. Now it seems Lamborghini wants to get back to its roots by offering garden tools.
Unfortunately these garden tools are not made at the Lamborghini factories; Lamborghini has merely licensed the Tonino Lamborghini name to German lawn-care company IKRA. Also unfortunate is the fact that none of the tools have V12 engines or the exhaust sounds of the Lamborghini cars. On a positive note, the tools are priced fairly with IKRA electric chainsaw retailing for $200 and the hedge trimmer at $150.
The Tonino Lamborghini collection includes shrub shears, hedge trimmers, grass trimmers, edgers, and a chainsaw. All of these models are electric and some even have a cordless rechargeable option. I’m guessing these are electric to reduce Lamborghini’s overall carbon footprint?
