Rihanna’s S&M Video – Banned in 11 Countries

I might be bad, but I’m perfectly good at it
Sex in the air, I don’t care, I love the smell of it
Sticks and stones may break my bones
But whips and chains excite me

When I first heard Rihanna’s new single, S&M, I couldn’t wait for the accompanying visuals. The lyrics are pretty damn racy, and she’s a smokin’ hot girl to begin with, so I was hoping for a ridiculous sex romp of a music video. Now that it’s finally been released, countries the world over are banning its play, but somehow I’m left saying, “That’s it?” There isn’t actually too much in this video that pushes the boundaries for tv, and personally, I think Enrique tossing off to prostitutes is actually more “offensive” (for the record, not offensive, but hilarious.) Apparently the overlaid shots of newsprint and ball gags on straight laced reporters is a statement about the media, but we were mostly hoping for more boobs. All that being said, the song is hella catchy, and you can’t pass up a chance to see Rihanna in a plethora of vinyl outfits.  Highlights include blowup dolls, suggestive deep throating of a banana, little girl outfits and heavy trussing, and Rihanna wearing a see through latex outfit walking Perez Hilton on a leash.

Author, Designer, and "that girl your mother warned you about." Looking good seems to be my job, whether it's working with the site design, or a number of other more interesting capacities. I have a ridiculous sense of humour and a brutal sense of honesty- you'll see a lot of that coming through in my writing, so don't say I didn't warn you if I somehow manage to offend you AND hurt your feelings at the same time. On the plus side, it makes my dating and advice columns a lot more pertinent to an unfinished man in the real world.
