Need a Gift for Your Guy? Here Are Some Ideas

So it’s coming up on his birthday, or maybe Christmas is just a few weeks away and you’re stuck in the same situation you were in last year: you’re just not sure what to get him. Guys aren’t great at dropping subtle hints; it’s usually a loud announcement of “I’ve GOT to have that!” or nothing at all, and lately, you’ve heard no stunning endorsements of the latest electronic gadget or guy device.

That’s what led you here. You figured you could simply read up a bit on a gentlemen’s blog and get a general idea about what might make a good gift. You’re in luck! After buying many a gift for my boyfriend over the years, I’ve become an expert, and I’m about to give you three quick and easy tips on how to find gifts to please nearly any guy. Here we go!

Meat-Cooking Accessories
Whether he’s a dad or a recent college grad, guys are absolutely obsessed with anything that has to do with applying heat to meat. Whether he loves to grill, smoke, or sous vide meat (or maybe a combination of all three), he’s sure to love anything having to do with tongs, prongs, temperature probes, or fireproof gloves.

Baked Goods
Whether you love to bake or know a great place to pick up some gourmet baked goods, nothing says love like feeding your guy. Give him a box of cookies or a tin of fresh-baked brownies. If he really loves you back, he might even share.

Toys
I’m being for real. Inside every guy is a little boy who still loves to play. Think about what he’s mentioned that he loved as a kid or get him something having to do with a movie, team, or activity he enjoys now. Whether it’s a set of army men, baseball cards, a new Xbox game, or Transformers, it’s sure to make him smile and feel appreciated.

See? Quick and easy! Now get to shopping (or baking!)
