Imeüble – Mental And Physical Storage Become One

Bjørn Jørund Blikstad, a furniture designer from Oslo Norway has designed a unique shelving unit that plays with concepts of storage in both the physical and mental space. I would be lying if I said I knew exactly what he means, but the piece really is quite striking. I find his color choices appealing, and the design itself is very unusual. If this is ever made available at a reasonable price, I would definitely purchase one. Perhaps we’ll be seeing items like this on the floors of Ikea some day.

You can contact the designer and view more photos of the shelving unit on Bjørn Jørund Blikstad’s website.

I'm a co-founder and writer here at Unfinished Man. I write, manage the look and feel of the website, and make sure that nothing breaks. I also reply to the vast majority of our emails, so if you're sending one through, I suggest you be nice. Everyone says I'm the least offensive of our writers, so they gave the email jockey task to me. When I'm not improving the site, I write about fashion, video games, politics, and anything related to science and technology.
