So, I saw this video the other day titled “FIRST KISS”.
Someone described it as 20 complete strangers being asked to kiss each other for the first time, so I fired it up and started watching. It was about as awkward as I expected, but also kind of… nice?
I remember my first awkward make-out session, drunk on a cloyingly sweet alcoholic beverage, probably on the verge of vomiting. These people’s experiences seemed a lot more pleasant, awkwardness and all. The trouble… is that the whole thing was complete bullshit.
I’m going to explain in a bit here, but first I want to show you an even better video… a parody of the first one. You see, the reason I didn’t publish “FIRST KISS” on its own, is because it’s so nice. I knew you guys would never go for that. I knew you would want something much more crude, like this…
I think the name sort of sums it up, so I’m just going to leave this right here and let you watch it. It’s relatively safe for work, just maybe listen on your headphones lest your co-workers wonder why you’re making such strange noises.
That’s probably because I have a crude, juvenile, disgusting mind, but if you’re reading this site, chances are you do as well. Don’t judge me!
As for the original video, the one of “strangers” supposedly kissing, well… if by “strangers” they mean “paid actors”, and if by “fun film project” they mean “advertising”, then yeah… the whole thing was just a fun film project of strangers kissing. But in reality, according to Slate Magazine, the whole thing was actually put together to sell clothing.
That makes it a lot less nice, and now I’m sad. I guess I’ll just have to watch the handjob video a few dozen more times.
