If you’ve played Angry Birds on your iPhone, then you’ll know just how addictive apps can be. Angry Birds has to be the most addictive iPhone app of all time – no one can argue with that. However, it’s such an obvious choice that I haven’t bothered including it in the top five. There are just too many other
Check out my top five seriously addictive iPhone apps below.
The Top 5 Apps of Incredible Distraction
Starting off with one of my favorite games…
Candy Crush Saga
Have you seen the annoying TV ads? “Treat yourself with Candy Crush Saga”. The cheesy as hell advert was enough to put me off downloading this number one iTunes app, however for the purposes of research I did it anyway. It turns out that it is incredibly addictive and everybody, and I mean everybody, is playing it.
It’s basically a suped-up version of Bejeweled and best of all it’s free! Just be aware, you’re probably going to spend a whole lot of time playing this. Like… way too much time.
“What’s appppp” – whoever came up with that name is a genius. This app allows you to group chat with your friends and send multimedia to them without having to pay any SMS charges. It also costs under a dollar to buy.
However, your friends will also need to have the app if it’s going to be any use to you. With the majority of people using MSN Chat or Facebook chat on their iPhones at the moment you may not need it. However, if it’s your chat app of choice then you’ll definitely be addicted.
I’m one of those people that has to look up a movie on IMDB before, during, and after I’ve watched it! There’s so much information on IMDB, with the ratings, reviews, trivia, goofs and actor info. Using your iPhone it’s easy to look up all this important stuff whilst you’re in the cinema or in bed watching a movie.
The only thing it lacks is our personal touch… you know, our seemingly pointless rants about trailers and upcoming films and that sort of thing. That’s our specialty.
Sky Bingo Mobile
Online bingo is huge now – no longer just for the oldies, it’s great fun for everyone and if you’re lucky you can win some serious cash! All of this whilst listening to legs eleven and two fat ladies (I would definitely recommend using the mute button while playing as this will quickly get irritating).
Mobile bingo sites are ridiculously addictive because they allow you to play bingo on the move. The best bingo apps for iPhones offer great deposit bonuses, and some even offer free money to play with – no deposit required! If you’re going to play games on your phone anyway, may as well try and make a few quid doing it.
Super Stickman Golf 2
For under a dollar you can download Super Stickman Golf 2. Use magnets and power ups to get a hole in one on these crazy, but insanely fun courses.
What can I say? It’s a crazy golf game with psychedelic colors, insane physics, and bizarre courses. For less than the price of a cup of coffee, you too can spend hours upon hours playing golf on your phone.
All these apps are available to download from the Apple itunes Store, and you can find bingo apps on www.bingoonmobile.co.uk. You’ll also find more details about each app, more pictures, and a bunch of comments describing people’s experiences with them… probably with a lot of complaints, because that’s what people do.
