Dan Oneil and His Award-Winning Team Set Their Eyes on Expansion

At just 27, Dan Oneil has created a phenomenal team that is changing the real estate landscape in Long Island in a big way. That wasn’t even a possibility he had considered 3 years ago when he began his career. Depressed and overworked in the hospitality industry, he was looking for ways of unleashing the potential he felt he was sleeping on. He also wanted the freedom that comes with being your own boss, and that’s how he started exploring his interests.

Lucky for Dan, he discovered his passion for real estate and started his business. From the very beginning, he knew he had to do things differently if he wanted to not only survive but thrive in the industry. He was a young newcomer in an industry dominated by older men accustomed to doing things in a certain way, and he had to develop his own strategy.

Dan found his edge through social media. He started making funny, unique, and entertaining marketing videos and posting them on social media platforms. This was outside the norm of what is done in the industry, and people noticed. Dan showed other agents that they didn’t have to take themselves too seriously to become good at their jobs and inspired them to do things differently.

Agents started reaching out to Dan, wishing to join him, and gradually, his team grew. They continued to change their audience’s view of real estate agents and the industry as a whole, and their business grew exponentially. Young and versatile, the team has continued to create viral listing videos and take the industry by storm.

Dan and his team are always giving back to their community, which has also contributed a lot to their growth. They donated $25,000 when COVID first hit and then raised an additional $25,000 towards the same cause. They also took part in the delivery of meals to front line workers.

The team has participated in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) man and woman of the year campaign two years in a row raising vital funds to cure children’s blood cancer. They also donate thousands of dollars to local dog shelters every month and host weekly Instagram giveaways for families in need.

Over the last 3 years, Dan and his team’s positive contributions to both the community and the real estate industry have garnered them recognition from many quarters. Dan has earned the Rookie of the Year and the Long Island Board of Realtors (LIBOR) Young Professionals Network top 20 under 40 awards. He’s also been named in the top 30 under 30 in the Coldwell Banker Real Estate Honors.

Dan was elected as the LIBOR YPN treasurer at 26 and is the youngest president-elect in the network’s history. He is also the youngest agent in Long Island history to break the $1M gross commission number. His team was named in the top 1% in the Signature Premier Property Company Awards and has broken records in almost every town in Long Island.

Dan’s brand continues to grow and inspire people by the day. It’s currently expanding to other parts of the country like Florida, The Carolinas, and LA. The brand will also be selling the first-ever 3D-printed home built by a private developer in the coming days. Ultimately, Dan wants to be a role model that will encourage more people to get into business regardless of age. As he says, if he and his team have accomplished all they have at their age, anyone else can too.
