My most memorable car accident happened, no joke, when I was on my way home from a Depeche Mode concert. It was past midnight, and I was driving home on I-95 (in Broward County). I did have to work the next day, so I was tempting fate anyway. All of a sudden, a mattress flew off of a black pickup truck and plopped in front of me on the highway. I swerved to miss it, but clipped the front left corner of the mattress and spun out of control. The car spun several times, all while on a bridge. I thought, this is it, this is over.
