There are many things I love about the Internet, but one of my absolute favorites is just how much it has exposed me to new music.
When I was a teenager, I mostly listened to dolphin sounds and movie soundtracks. No, I’m not even joking… believe me, I wish I were.
The Internet – and a few concerned friends – changed all that, and my life has been better ever since. I’ve discovered tons of sounds I never expected I would like, and I’ve found a ton of very… unique, music videos along the way. Some are sexy, some are strange, and some are both. This music video for Basement Jaxx’s Never Say Never is definitely both.
Without dance there is no love. Without love there is no passion.
Without passion there are no humans… then what are we?72% have stopped partaking in the art of dancing…
And in 15 years… 98% of us will cease to dance.
That sounds like a dangerously low level of dance to me. But what can we as a society possibly do to get people dancing again? There’s only one solution: TW3RKBOT 1.0
The Never Say Never music video was written and directed by Saman Kesh, and as previously mentioned the song is by Basement Jaxx. I admit, I never heard of them before this showed up on my Reddit feed this morning, but I’m glad I discovered them.
I enjoyed the song; it was quite upbeat, which I suppose really isn’t that surprising considering it features a video of a twerking robot and ample amounts of human twerking too. I can’t speak for the rest of the writers here, but I think that twerking may just be the only good thing that’s come out of Miley Cyrus.
Now, how much would YOU pay for a TW3RKBOT 1.0? Maybe I can review one… for science.
