Wooden Desserts by Greely Myatt

My girlfriend likes wood and she likes desserts. I am happy to provide her with both especially the wood part.

While you finish rolling your eyes at me, have a look at the unusual wooden desserts by artist Greely Myatt. Myatt is a faculty member at the University of Memphis and a Sculpture Program Coordinator. His title at the university makes sense because his wooden dessert sculptures are pretty badass looking.

The cake sculptures look delicious and very lifelike, especially since they are entirely constructed out of wood.

And all you artsy fartsy folks should be happy to hear that Greely Myatt often uses reclaimed materials such as wood and metal when he creates his artwork. The sculptures look realistic enough to eat and would definitely be interesting to watch my lady friend try to dig into this.
