Travel Tips for Visiting Costa Rica in Comfort

Costa Rica is one of the most sought after destinations not just for Americans but for people around the world. Besides all the eco-diversity, tropical rainforest and volcanoes, its beaches are some of the best in the world. Although because of its small size you’d be tempted to see as much of the country as possible, it’s a good travel tip to go straight to the Pacific coast.

Here again you’ll be tempted to start all the way north and then go south town by town. It’s my advice that you pick one great spot and stay there your entire trip. Or, at least find one or 2 other places and limit your trip to just that. The reason is that Costa Rica has excellent all inclusive resorts that take care of all your needs. From there you can do day trips out to the interior to see volcanoes and forests, always returning to these great resorts.

One of the best places to stay in your trip is Tambor. You can either drive their or even fly there from San Jose International airport. Why? Because it contains one of the best all inclusive resorts and gives you access to some of the best and least crowded beaches. You can take day trips down the peninsula to some of these beaches and charming towns.

Tambor itself also has some of the best beaches and sightseeing in all of Costa Rica. The warm Pacific waters provide ample ways to spend your time. You can take a boat ride out to one of the many islands, go snorkeling or fishing. You can also stay close to the resort and just enjoy their beaches. During one of your day trips you can travel south to many incredible beaches. These are great beaches but because they are hard to get to from other parts of Costa Rica, many are without many people. You can spend the day at the beach and not be hassled by other visitors. Down further is Montezuma, a charming town that has a hippy feel and also excellent restaurants. It’s a small town but attracts great chefs.

Although Costa Rica is a small country that has lots of offer, a good piece of advice for travelers to this country is to head west to the Pacific, stay in one of the great costa rica beach resorts and then take day trips to whatever else you want to see. You won’t regret and you’re stay and comfort will be all the better because of it.
