There are many large sporting events organized around the world that take place every few years, events like winter and summer Olympics, the World Cup, Euro Cup, Commonwealth games, and lesser known events like Asiad (the Asian Games). Most people are familiar with the official timekeepers of the large events like the Olympics (Omega) and World Cup (Hublot), but even the lesser known events have official timekeepers; Tissot is the official timekeeper of the 17th Asian Games. To celebrate the occasion, Tissot is releasing a set of limited edition watches.
The 17th Asian Games (Asiad) will take place between September 19th and October 4th, 2014 in the city of Incheon, Korea. The Asian games feature a variety of sporting events, not unlike the Olympic Games; the only difference is that participants from only Asian countries can take part in the games.
Unlike other event official timekeepers, Tissot is releasing 8 different watches for the Asian Games, each model limited to 2,014 pieces. Due to the large number of different watches, there’s something for everyone from quartz to mechanical movements, and even ladies watches; ranging in prices from $575 to $1,100.

The Tissot 17th Asian Games Incheon 2014 Limited Edition Watches are quite colorful, with red being the predominant color in most of the watches.
