Wolf vs Goat: Manly Pink Collection – The Power of Loyalty

One of our guiding principles here at Unfinished Man is calling things how they are, or at least… how we think they are. When we review something, we actually review it, and if something sucks? Well, we aren’t afraid to say so. This means that we often piss people off, but we’re okay with that. It means that when we’ve got something really exciting to talk about – such as Wolf vs Goat, well… hopefully you take that a bit more seriously too. So on that note…

What’s the deal with Wolf vs Goat?

Today I would like to share with you one of my favorite new brandsWolf vs Goat – run by an awesome, no-bullshit fellow named Mauro Farinelli. I stumbled onto his work a few months ago, asked him some questions, and we started talking about a whole lot of things. It turns out that we value much of the same things, including a passion for clothing that is not only handsome, but that doesn’t… you know, fall apart immediately. I won’t name names here…

The Brand… the Man… the Legend

Full disclose here: I own a few Wolf Vs Goat shirts and I love them. If I’m gushing, it’s simply because I’ve finally found a brand of shirts that both fit my freakishly long monkey arms perfectly, and that are beautiful and incredibly well constructed to boot. That’s what gets me all hot and bothered.

This isn’t me, but it could be.

If you’re looking for stylish shirts made completely in the USA, then look no further my friends. These are the type of shirts that will get you laid, or at least wave after wave of complements like “sweet shirt, bra” and “damn son, where did you get those threads?”. You know, that kind of thing. Think mother of pearl buttons, Japanese fabrics, and American construction, all designed by Mauro, one manly sun of a gun. Talk to him for just five minutes, I dare you… you’ll see exactly what I mean.

Now, though I’ll be writing a full review of the “after dinner” shirts in the coming weeks (complete with many photos of my sexy mug) I didn’t want to delay in sharing this summer sale with you, and a few details about the Wolf vs Goat Loyalty Program. But let’s start with the sale…

Summer Sale – Looking Manly in Pink

If you’re interested in picking up some awesome pink shirts, otherwise known as “salmon” for those in the know, then here’s your chance. Mauro made a few too many, and now he’s putting them on sale. If you use code “manly” at checkout, you’ll be able to save anywhere between 30-70% off on any shirt that’s pink.

That’s a pretty slick deal if you ask me. Unfortunately I have no idea how long the sale will last, so you’ll have to go bother Mauro with that one. Oh, and I’m guessing you’ll want to see which items are on sale, which you can do right here.

Loyalty is the key to… Savings?

So, you're saying I can save 50% off everything forever by paying $75 once?
So, you’re saying I can save 50% off everything forever by paying $75 once?

If this didn’t sound sales pitchy enough before, then check this out… Wolf vs Goat also has a loyalty program that grants members some pretty steep discounts. Basically, you sign up and pay a flat, one time fee of $75 and receive a permanent discount of 50% off of everything. Yes, you read that correctly.

See that shirt that’s normally $175? Bam, it goes down to $87.50. You’re going to need a few shirts a year anyway, which means the loyalty program is worth it for you pretty much immediately.

Here’s another example… imagine for a moment that you go ahead and order a tailored suit that’s usually $2500. If you’re a member of the loyalty program, that drops right down to $1250. Where else can you get a sweet tailored suite for that kind of money? Probably someone on the side of the road in Vietnam, but I guarantee… it will be nothing like WvG.

Questions? Comments?

If you have any questions about fit or sizing, don’t hesitate to leave a comment below and I’ll do my best to answer them. If there’s anything else, go ahead and contact Wolf vs Goat and they’ll get back to you promptly.

  1. best $75 ive ever spent … you can’t beat the service and quality that WvG provides. all made in USA with the best quality fabrics from italy, japan, etc. and its stuff you can’t find anywhere else!

one time fee for 50% off for life pays for itself after one item. only problem is once you go down this path, you will never stop 🙂

  2. Great write-up. I’ve been a big fan of WvG for quite some time, and now that I think about it, I’ve purchased over 30 items from them over the past year. They are literally my go-to for every piece of my wardrobe.

There really is no reason for me to purchase my clothing elsewhere. The fit and finish of every garment is superb, the customer service is fantastic, and after joining the loyalty program I feel like I’m stealing!

  3. Mauro is the man. I own more of his shirts than I can count. His knits are ridiculously soft and his henleys are a steal with the loyalty discount. $75 for a lifetime of discounts? Yes, please.
I had Mauro measure me up for the suit I will be wearing for my wedding. Endless choice of fabrics and construction details. Great service and care in ensuring you get what you want. Like I said, Mauro is the man.

  4. I’ve been purchasing Wolf vs Goat products from Day 1 and they haven’t disappointed me since. My entire wardrobe is filled with Mauro’s products. Oxfords, chinos, knit sweaters, tees, etc. The list goes on. Every detail is well thought out and executed.

Aside from the products being superb,
Mauro is a genuinely great person to talk to. If you have any questions regarding his products, call, email, or text him. He’ll answer. You don’t find too many places in the world these days like his.

  5. Stellar write up. American Made (or worldwide for that matter) clothing of Mauro’s quality is few and far between. Combined with WvG’s Loyalty Pricing and Customer Service, you’re well into unparalleled. I’ve had the pleasure of purchasing 18 items ranging from killer shorts and pants to Tee’s, buttons, sweaters and every piece is a classic. Don’t take my word for it, hit up his site wolfvsgoat.com and check it out for yourself. Killer work Mauro, and keep it coming.

  6. American-made clothing of Mauro’s quality is few and far between. Toss in his loyalty program and personal customer service, you’re talking world-wide unparallelled. I’ve had the pleasure of picking up 25 of his pieces from shorts to sweaters and every one increases my sexy exponentially. Monkey arms? Gym Thighs? No problem. One-time 75.00 loyalty fee to pick up this 400.00 sweater for less than my monthly cell phone bill? Sign me up.

  7. I love it when my boyfriend wears WvG. He looks hot and I love the way those fabrics feel. They are so soft and silky! WvG is an easy go to for gifts for him because I know the fit is killer and then I can borrow his t-shirts.

  8. It took me a little bit of time to get comfortable with the notion of ordering shirts online. Unlike, say, denim, there aren’t *as* many variables when it comes to wearing shirts. I’m especially particular with fit, and the little nuances of various articles of clothing. A friend of mine who works with Mauro at WvG finally convinced me, and I haven’t looked back. I think someone mentioned above, but, in terms of dress shirts, I look no further than WvG. There’s really no need to. I’m hard on my clothes – even my dress wear – and the quality is tough to beat. The patterns are always spot on, as well, giving both a bit of classic, and a bit of the adventurous, as well. Factor in the loyalty program, and it’s tough to pass up. If there were such a thing, in terms of durability, and craftsmanship, and quality, as a shirting-equivalent to well-crafted jeans, I would venture to say that these guys are it.

Though it might be the kind of situation where you’ll just have to try it and see for yourself, you certainly won’t be disappointed in WvG if you do. If you’re used to outfitting yourself from J. Crew, etc., I’m almost positive that you’ll quickly find Wolf vs. Goat replacing their pieces of your wardrobe. Fabric…fit…construction…it’s everything that you want out of your best articles of clothing.

Also, they are some good, good dudes. Obviously that isn’t the most important thing to a lot of shoppers, but knowing I’m supporting something, and someone, whose character is as good as their product, goes a very long way in my eyes.

  9. I have a couple of WvG shirts. I think the quality of fabrics is unparalleled. My only gripe is I have buttons that keep falling or break. Mauro is pretty good about sending me new ones though! Shirts are definitely dope.
