Grand Theft Auto, a gaming franchise that goes hand in hand with children’s television programming. Right?
Okay, perhaps they do not, but YouTube user Merfish’s newest video is so incredible that we just cannot look away. If you’re ready to take a trip down memory lane, you’re going to love this brand-new Teletubbies-inspired video that Merfish recently published. In the words of my homeboy Adam Jensen, “I never asked for this,” but man am I happy (and a little terrified) that someone actually took the time to make this. If you think you can handle the video, here we go…
If that’s not nightmare-inducing, I don’t know what is. The video is a spot-on recreation of the popular UK children’s show you totally never watched, because you were way too cool for that. It stars Trevor as Tinky Winky, Franklin as Dipsy, Lamar as Lala, and Michael as Po. The men are all garbed in the suitable colors for whatever these creates are, and sport similarly shaped… things… on their heads. Seriously, Trevor has a martini on his head. It even features a special cameo at the end by Lester as the creepy baby face sun.

There’s simply something about seeing the Teletubbies greet and chest bump with each other on one half of the screen, while GTA characters murder each other on the other. It’s practically poetic.
