Stalkers Dream Come True – LAS 1505 GPS Tracker

While doing my daily browsing across the strange world of the internet, I came across this LAS 1505 GPS Tracker. At first, I thought it was a pretty cool way to keep track of your property like a car for example. You never know, maybe a friend wants to borrow it or you can even use it as a security feature just in case the vehicle gets stolen. But this GPS tracking device doesn’t actually work the way you’d think.

The “Land Air Sea” LAS 1505 GPS Tracker will clamp onto any metal surface with its built-in magnet. And when they say any metal surface, they are obviously referring to the underside of a vehicle. The device then logs any movement down to a 2.5 meter accuracy. The GPS tracker will continuously do a second by second log which then has to be downloaded to a PC via a USB port. So you actually have to retrieve the device physically after you’ve done your creeping to see exactly where the person you’re tracking has traveled to.

So this is why it’s a stalkers dream since they will know exactly where you’ve been and for how long. This is also a good way to see if your spouse was really going out with his or her friends to a movie or doing some other extracurricular activities.

Negative thoughts aside, this device could actually be pretty useful for many applications including businesses with many company vehicles on the road. The device runs on two AA batteries which can last 48 hours with constant use but up to two weeks if your prey company vehicle is not being used often. Once you retrieve the data from the GPS tracker, you are able to view on top of Google Earth exactly how the journey of the vehicle progressed. The device will log the exact route traveled, the speeds, durations are stops, and much more. It’s available at Amazon for $139.
