Rolls-Royce makes cars for the super-rich, their cars are hand-built in very limited numbers and are very expensive and exclusive. But some of their cars are even more exclusive, which only a handful of ultra-rich customers buy, like their latest Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Nighthawk edition. This car is limited to only 9 units and is available in North America only.
What sets this Phantom Drophead coupe apart is the difference in interior materials, most RR’s come with interiors that are filled with luxurious burl wood panels, that look quite tasteful and appropriate for a luxury car. The Nighthawk opts for the use of carbon fiber in the interior instead, which is applied to the dashboard, door panels inserts, center console, and even the gauge cluster. Does it work? It seems a bit too much to me, like something out of Mansory’s workshop. But then again, I’m not their target customer and I’ll never own one of these limited edition cars, let alone see one.
The exterior of the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Nighthawk edition is finished in Diamond Black Metallic paint with a matte black hood and the car rides on 7-spoke aluminum wheels.
