Rolls Royce Ghost One Thousand and One Nights

The East is rising in economic power, if you didn’t know this piece of breaking news, you can go to any of the major luxury automobile brands’ websites and have a look at all the special edition cars they’re churning out made specifically for the “Eastern countries” – mainly China and oil-rich Middle Eastern countries.

Today Rolls Royce released pictures of a special edition of the already pretty special Ghost sedan for the Middle East market.  The car is called the Rolls Royce Ghost One Thousand and One Nights edition, part of a new line of bespoke cars.  The car will be officially unveiled at the Sharjah International Automobile Show and is the “chapter one” of the series with chapters two and three to be released in spring and fall of 2013.

Special Edition Rolls Royce Ghost for the Middle East

Rolls Royce hasn’t provided any details on this special edition Middle East car but we think the upgrades are mainly aesthetic and even then there aren’t many upgrades, I guess Rolls Royce just wants to squeeze a little extra profit out of the rich Arabs.  The special edition Ghost comes in a two-tone paint and features pin stripes with a bit of traditional Arab design/sketches, I don’t know exactly what I’d call it, have a look at the picture on the right.  The pin-stripes also feature “One Thousand and One Nights” written in Arabic alphabet below the c-pillar near the trunk.
