ROA Street Art – Europe Bound

I’ve never used a can of spray-paint in my life, and I’m not a talented artist by any stretch of the imagination, but what I do have is a solid appreciation for street art. I think it started when I read about Banksy years ago in a William Gibson novel, and eventually I came to enjoy it more and more.

Today I bring you an incredibly awesome collection of street art animals from an artist known as ROA. If you’re asking yourself “is that the same ROA that Chad wrote about before?”, then please pat yourself on the back for having such a good memory. Yes indeed it is, and this time he’s bringing us even more animals, and in all sorts of places, such as London, Belgium, and Stockholm.

Is it so wrong that this really makes me want to cook up a whole package of bacon? Mmm, I can taste it now… sizzling, delicious. Then you cook your eggs in the bacon fat, and oh man, I’m starving.

As delicious as the skinned pig looks, my favorite creature here is the owl. He’s got such a great “don’t give a shit” face on him that suits that building perfectly. Now, if only I could get ROA to paint something like that on the walls of my home, and I would be set. There’s a good chance that guests would be terrified, but hey, I can live with that.

If you’re interested in seeing more of ROA’s fine work, head over to Unurth and search him out. What I’ve shown you here is just a handful of shots from the massive collection of pieces that ROA has done over the years, all over the world. While you’re over there, check out some of the other great artists that they feature. I promise, you won’t be disappointed.
