This portable indoor/outdoor gel fireplace features a brushed nickel base that can hold up to 3 cans of FireGlo gel cans providing output of up to 9,000 BTU (this is where you do the Tim Allen grunt from Home Improvement). The base is covered by a tempered glass panel on each side, giving you a perfect view of the fire and giving the fireplace a cool modern look. According to the website, when fire is not needed, use the included snuffer cover to put it out and replace the gel cans with pillar candles…I’m not sure about the candles part, it kind of takes away from the coolness of the fireplace.
The portable gel fireplace measures 32” wide, 9.25” deep, and 24” high. It weighs about 50 pounds, so moving it around might not be as easy as it sounds because of the glass sides but still doable. The FireGlo gel canisters last about 3 hours, so be prepared to spend extra money on those.
