Only Watch 2015: Tudor Heritage Black Bay One

For Only Watch 2015, Rolex has decided to put one of their watches up in the charity auction, but not from their regular Rolex line, instead their sub brand Tudor. We’re not sure why the Swiss watchmaker went this route; this will be the first time the Rolex/Tudor brand will make an appearance at the biennial charity event.

The Tudor Heritage Black Bay One reference 7923/001 is not just any Black Bay watch, its a one of a kind Black Bay specifically designed for the Only Watch auction. The watch is an homage to the 1954 Tudor Submariner reference 7923 watch, hence the Black Bay One 7923/001 name.

The Black Bay One ref. 7923/001 is also different looking compared to the regular Black Bay. It comes with gilt gold hands and hour markers, and a black rotating bezel with a red triangle at the 60 minute marker. The case measures 41mm and comes with a grey NATO strap and a stainless steel bracelet. It’s powered by an ETA 2824 automatic movement.

The Tudor Heritage Black Bay One reference 7923/001 will go on the auction block on November 6, 2015 in Geneva, Switzerland at the 2015 Only Watch auction. via: Tudor
