Online Surveys: Opinions, Products and Politics (Oh, and Rewards)

Let’s face it, who hasn’t seen ads looking for survey takers and opinion providers? These ads tend to make out that there are some pretty nice rewards, prizes and loyalty programs up for grabs, all alongside an opportunity to really shape the products and services that we use in our everyday lives. However, it’s important to separate all the noise from the programs that are worth your time.

Ipsos: The real deal (honestly)

I’m a pretty opinionated guy (although both my mates and my family may have another, all-together more offensive adjective for this, but that’s another matter); last month I visited Ipsos, which is a survey site to share your opinion. The marketing guys behind this initiative are to the research opinion world what Ozzy Osbourne is to the Rock world. They’re called Ipsos, and you might not know it, but they’ve probably had some hand in shaping a product you’ve purchased over the last few days; from the exact smell in your deodorant, to how soft your toilet roll is. You name it, they research it, and they do so for some of the world’s biggest brands.

Safe to say then that Ipsos is not only a pretty big player in market research, but most likely THE market leader in its own industry.

It’s a no brainer to take surveys and earn rewards with i-Say, right? Oh, and i-Say is also a website where there is a real sense of community (there are polls where you can answer questions, whilst also creating your own – so if you’ve ever wanted to ask a burning question – such as “what would have been a far better ending to Sons of Anarchy than some 1990’s level CGI?”, this is the place.

Going beyond products

You might think that there’s only so much input you’d be able to give on a product, right? Well Ipsos goes beyond retail to also influence many other areas; meaning that you can have your say on things such as politics and even social issues. This is like a dinner party free from the potential of bust-ups and show downs between Trump fanatics and Hilary loyalists.

So, just what’s on offer?

Now there are plenty of survey sites out there that proclaim to offer awesome prizes and gift cards; only for there to be a gazillion hours put in before you so much as receive anything at all. So, allow me to be clear: this site isn’t only awesome for providing your truly valuable opinions, but it’s also great for earning rewards and prizes (such as the ‘Click Draw’ which runs every 4 months, or the Welcome Draw for newbies); you can read about these right here.
