Mercedes-Benz’s AMG cars are pretty damn powerful in stock form, that is if we’re even allowed to call them “stock”, but for some super-rich customers driving a regular AMG car isn’t enough. Take for example the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG sedan/wagon; it has more than enough power for us mere mortals (550 HP and 531 lb-ft. of torque). But some customers want even more power, that’s where the BRABUS 850 6.0 Biturbo comes in.
The German tuner BRABUS is known for increasing power on Mercedes vehicles to ridiculous numbers, and the tuned E63 AMG is no exception. As the name implies, the car’s twin-turbo V8 engine produces 850 horsepower and a ridiculously high 1,070 pound-feet (1,450 Nm) of torque. Say goodbye to your tires!
The extra power is achieved by boring out the 5.5 liter V8 to 6.0 liters, tinkering with the computer, turbos, air intake, exhaust, and other technical stuff we don’t want to be bothered with. The rear-wheel drive version of this car reaches 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.7 seconds, but if you want to get there even faster, opt for the 4MATIC all-wheel drive version and you’ll get to 62 mph in just 3.1 seconds! Top speed is also impressive, with this big sedan reaching 217 mph.
The Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG BRABUS 850 6.0 Biturbo is available in sedan or wagon versions, the car comes with a bit of aero work and comes with 20” BRABUS Monoblock wheels with high performance tires. These highly powerful cars have, as one would expect, a high price; starting at €248,419. But if that’s too high of a price and too much performance for you, BRABUS will gladly sell you a less powerful version with 611, 650, or 720 HP.
