MB&F HM3 MegaWind Final Edition Watches

Maximilian Busser & Friends (MB&F) presents the latest watch in their Horological Machine line, the HM3 MegaWind Final Edition. The watch is based on the HM3, which has had quite a few different versions over the years.

The name, MegaWind, is derived from the big winding rotor on the watch (and not wind, the stuff you feel when it’s windy). The battle-axe shaped rotor is made out of 22k gold and titanium.

The HM3 MegaWind Final Edition watch features two cones on the dial, one for the hours and the other for the minutes. The cones display time either from the sides or the top. The numbers on the cones are covered with Super-LumiNova GL C3 Grad A coating, which is the brightest luminescent substance, giving the watch a very bright glow in the dark.

The watch comes in a 47mm x 50mm x 17mm black PVD treated 18k white gold and titanium, with black alligator leather strap and PVD coated folding clasp. The front and the back of the watch are covered with AR coated sapphire crystal. The watch is powered by MB&F Caliber automatic movement, designed by Jean-Marc Wiederrech. The movement consists of 36 jewels and comes with 50 hours of power reserve.

The MB&F HM3 MegaWind Final Edition watches are limited to 25 pieces and are priced at $98,000 US. Via: MB&F

  1. Dear Faisal, many thanks for the nice article on our MegaWind Final Edition! Just one thing which would require a correction: the price, which is actually significantly lower – it’s USD 98,000 + tax.
    Thanks again
