MB&F Arachnophobia Table/Wall Clock

The mad scientists at MB&F have done it again, this time creating a clock in the form of a spider, an insect that is hated by a huge percentage of the world’s population. The clock is appropriately named Arachnophobia and looks quite disturbing, if you hate spiders.

This is not the first time MB&F has gone away from making wrist watches, they also produced the Starfleet Machine and the Melchoir robot clock a few years ago.

The MB&F Arachnophobia clock is inspired by the giant spider sculpture by Louise Bourgeois, called “Maman”, which is over 3 meters tall. The Arachnophobia clock is not as big but should still give spider-haters the goosebumps. The Arachnophobia clock measures 40 cm wide and can be hung on a wall or placed on a table. The clock comes with 8 days of power reserve and comes in black or gold versions, the black version weighs about 2 pounds and is priced at 15,200 Swiss Francs and the gold version weighs around 4 pounds and is priced at 17,200 Swiss Francs ($15,560 and $17,600 US, at today’s exchange rate).
