I’m no “film” critic nor do I pretend to be one, we usually leave movie trailer post to Chad. Personally, the types of movies I like involve ass – the types of movie where I get to see lots of ass (the female kind) or movies with lots of ass being kicked (either gender works here). I don’t really want to think too much when I’m watching a movie; I do plenty of that in real life.
With that disclaimer out of the way, here’s my go at the Need For Speed movie trailer, the movie is by DreamWorks Studios and will be arriving in theatres in March 2014.
I’m guessing DreamWorks is making this movie because of the popularity of the Fast & Furious franchise, which will see a 7th installment in the summer of 2014. I’m hoping the NFS movie is more about the cars than what the F&F franchise has turned into, which is, action movies with some cars in them.
The NFS movie trailer looks pretty decent with lots of exotic cars, I mean replicas of exotic cars, like the Bugatti Veyron, Koenigsegg Agera, McLaren P1, Saleen S7, and a heavily modified GT500 – driven by the “hero”, isn’t that the guy from Breaking Bad?
I’ve spent countless hours playing the Need for Speed games, dating way back to the 1990’s. It was one of my favorite racing crashing games, and have high hopes for the movie. I’m hoping the move has at least a half-ass decent story (yes, I do care about a storyline) and there isn’t too much crappy CGI, and the movie isn’t as cheaply made as one the all-time worst automotive (motorcycles, in this case) movie…Torque, featuring Ice Cube and a bunch of other wankers.
