Kia Sportspace Concept – Yes Please!!

After hiring Peter Schreyer, Kia has been bringing some very stylish cars to the market, and here is another stunner. The Kia Sportspace concept is not really coming to the market place (yet) but we hope it makes it into a production model.

The Sportspace is an absolutely gorgeous station wagon and could be a hint at what the next Optima would look like and maybe make it as a production Optima wagon. The front end does look like a cleaned up version of the current production model Optima. I think the Sportspace is the best design to come out of Kia’s design studio so far.

I mentioned Peter Schreyer above, the Sportspace is not designed by him, it was born in Kia’s European design studio under chief designer Gregory Guillaume. The design of the car is very European and the back end of the car reminding me of an Alfa Romeo.

The Kia Sportspace concept will be showcased at the Geneva Motor show in early March, Kia will provide more information on engine etc when it’s officially showcased at the show. [Via]
