We’re always looking for slick phone solutions to make your life easier that don’t look like shit; trolling around on Kickstarter, I found an awesome solution to having to lug a phone charger everywhere: the JuiceTank iPhone charger case. This slick little design features prongs that swing out of the back of the case and allow you to plug your phone directly into the wall anywhere. Here’s the grand idea behind the JuiceTank iPhone charger case, taken from the Kickstarter page:
“The JuiceTank is the first iPhone case to feature an integrated wall charger that folds flat to provide maximum portability. The automated plug deploys easily and allows you to plug your phone directly into any outlet. No cords required. We designed the case with a micro USB pass through so you can charge and sync your iPhone with a micro USB cord… if you have one handy. If not, you’ll always have your JuiceTank with you to recharge your iPhone. The case will be made out of a high grade polycarbonate to protect your phone from daily wear and tear. There’s tons of time left on the project, and it’s picking up steam… the JuiceTank is currently over a quarter of the way funded, but it won’t actually get the money unless it reaches the total goal of $125,000. With successful funding, the JuiceTanks will be shipping for Summer 2012. The iPhone charger case looks fantastic, has a subtle lip to keep your phone from scratching when it’s laying face down, and it’s a sleek, sexy overall design. The placement of the prongs means that your phone will only block one outlet when it’s charging, and since battery life has been a big complaint about the new iPhones, it’s great to have room for a friend. The micro USB pass through means that if you’re not able to find a wall outlet or you’re in your car, then you can still use your cord charger without removing the case. Overall, I’m massively impressed with the idea and looks behind this iPhone charger case, and anything that helps a guy keep connected without extra fuss is a step in the right direction.
