I’ve had a professional massage (no happy endings) only once in my life and it was a pretty nice experience. For about an hour, I let the masseuse have her way with me and I felt like a new person after the massage. I can’t afford a daily massage so I started looking around for a nice massage chair which would be a nice long term “investment”. There are a few decent options out there and then I came across the one I knew I had to have. What I came across was the Inada Sogno Dreamwave Massage Chair. It looked so beautiful and is very comfortable looking but all that excitement disappeared real quick once I saw the price tag.

The Inada Sogno Dreamwave Massage Chair comes with a hefty price tag of around $8,199 or so depending on the color you choose. This massage chair is the holy grail of massage chairs and Inada has been building therapeutic massage chairs since 1962. This thing will massage your back, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, thighs, calves, and feet. Just the ‘Full Arm Massage’ feature has 22 cushions that provide air driven massages. Inada is a well known brand and many of their models can be found in spas all over the world. There are plenty of intensities in the settings from light massages to the more deep tissue style massages. The Inada Sogno Dreamwave also has infrared sensors which will scan and detect your body type to determine which type massage to give. The user also has control and can pick from eight per-programmed massage sequences.

Apparently, the massage chair is the result of years of collaboration between Japanese engineers and shiatsu massage experts. The Inada Sogno Dreamwave is covered in plush leather and available in black, red, chocolate, dark brown, and beige/creme. If you have deep pockets, the Inada Sogno Dreamwave massage chair can be picked up for $8,199 on Amazon.
