A couple of weeks back, I wrote about the awesome Coolest cooler which has a slew of features including a 12volt blender for smoothies and milkshakes. But I found another cooler which literally cools you and your drinks. The IcyBreeze cooler is like your traditional cooler but it also acts as a portable air conditioning unit! Pretty cool, right?
It keeps your drinks cold by adding ice as one would expect but add two quarts of water and now you have a functional portable air conditioner. Simply close the lid, turn on the device, and the chilled water will start circulating through a radiator. The IcyBreeze cooler features a built-in rechargeable battery which powers a three-speed fan that draws the air while the radiator cools it and blows it out through a vent or through their stay put flexi-hose. The blown out air is said to be 35 degrees (Fahrenheit) cooler than the outside air.
Using the IcyBreeze Cooler
The 38QT size may not be the biggest cooler on the market but it makes up for it in other ways. For example, if you don’t use the air conditioning feature; the ice will last for up to seven days. And when using the air conditioner feature, the battery will last for up to six hours on the low fan speed, four hours on medium, and 2.5 hours on high. The cooler also has two built-in cup holders on top of the lid.
The IcyBreeze cooler is perfect for practically any event or scenario. If you have an old car and are doing a road trip, stick this in the backseat and let it do its thing. Want a tan but don’t care for the heat? Stick the IcyBreeze cooler next to you while you’re on the patio, at the beach, or the park. When I go camping, I always want to nap but the tent is usually like a furnace. I can already picture this being used for day time naps inside the tent.
